About
the Hidden table

Guided by a deep sensitivity to proportion, material presence, and atmosphere, The Hidden Table, based in Basel, Switzerland, brings together art, objects, and experiences through a thoughtful curatorial lens. Each element is selected for its material presence, cultural depth, and the quiet dialogue it creates within a space. Nothing is incidental; every object holds a story, a rhythm, a reason to be there.

At once an intimate gallery and a living collection, The Hidden Table exists as a place of encounter. It unfolds through private gatherings, artistic collaborations, and carefully composed settings where people come together around shared sensibilities.  Gathering becomes our narrative, and curation a deliberate gesture of attention. Shaped by discernment and a commitment to meaning, restraint, and presence, The Hidden Table exists for those who value atmosphere as much as form, and who understand that the most lasting impressions are often the quietest ones.

The Hidden Table is a curated space founded on the belief that objects, when chosen with intention, shape not only spaces, but the way we gather, connect, and remember.

The Hidden Table Editions

Intimate exhibitions dedicated to the objects and craftsmanship of each artisan welcomed into the gallery. Each edition begins with a curated opening moment, taking the form of a brunch, vernissage, or apéro, shaped by the spirit of the edition itself. These gatherings serve as the first point of connection between artists, designers, collectors, and invited guests, bringing together design, gastronomy, and conversation in a warm and inspiring atmosphere.

At its core, The Hidden Table exists as a space where art, design, and human connection converge. Each edition unfolds as an immersive encounter, cultivating a living dialogue between creators and guests while opening space for discovery, exchange, and new possibilities.

Beyond the presentation of objects, every edition extends into Curatorial Dialogue. Through thoughtful guidance and ongoing conversation, works are positioned within a broader narrative of art, objects, and lived experience. This dialogue considers placement, presentation, and the alignment of each work with collectors, interiors, and spaces where the object may ultimately reside.

Press and Audience

Edition I  was presented to a gathering of invited collectors, designers, members of the press, and cultural guests. Rather than a conventional exhibition opening, the occasion unfolded as an immersive environment where objects, gastronomy, and conversation came together in quiet harmony. Within this intimate setting, guests encountered the works in a living atmosphere, one that encouraged exchange, reflection, and meaningful connection, reflecting the spirit of The Hidden Table as a place where craft, design, and human dialogue converge.

Objects are not only exhibited but thoughtfully integrated into the environments and lives of those who encounter them.

Edition I

The first Hidden Table Edition marked the inaugural extension of the gallery’s curatorial exhibition conceived as an intimate gathering, Edition I  introduced a format through which the gallery presents and celebrates the craft of newly represented artisans, inviting their work to be encountered within a carefully composed environment rather than a traditional exhibition setting.

The Upcoming Edition— Edition II

Following the success of the inaugural gathering, The Hidden Table, Edition II  will soon unfold as the next chapter of the gallery’s evolving curatorial exhibition. Building upon the spirit of the first edition, this upcoming presentation will introduce a new selection of artisans and objects, each chosen for their distinctive craftsmanship and quiet presence.

Edition II  will once again take shape as an immersive encounter, where objects, atmosphere, gastronomy, and conversation come together to create a living environment for discovery. Guests will be invited to engage with the work in an intimate setting that encourages dialogue between creators, collectors, designers, and cultural guests.

For artisans, The Hidden Table offers more than a moment of exhibition. It is an opportunity to enter a thoughtful curatorial dialogue, where their work is introduced within a carefully composed narrative and presented to an audience that values craftsmanship, material integrity, and meaningful design.

As each edition unfolds, The Hidden Table continues to cultivate a circle drawn together by the appreciation of objects, craft, and human connection, opening space for new collaborations, encounters.
